All bookings have a 2-hour minimum. If the journey takes longer than the hours you selected, the extra time is added at the same hourly rate in half-hour steps — the booking form shows this before you pay.

How to book a man and van
- Choose your van and how many hours you need.
- Enter your route — pickup and drop-off postcodes, date, arrival window and your contact details.
- Add property details — floors, lift, parking, boxes and any heavy items.
- Review the price breakdown, pay the 30% booking fee by card and pay the 70% driver fee to your driver on the day.
Who does the move, and how you pay
NKVans is a booking, coordination and dispatch platform. The physical move is carried out by an independent driver-operator, who is responsible for the vehicle, the driving, loading and unloading and the care of your goods.
You pay a 30% NKVans Booking Fee online when you book (plus any ULEZ or Congestion Charge). The remaining 70% Driver Fee is paid directly to your driver. Please read the Customer Terms & Conditions and the Cancellation & Refund Policy before you book.

How much does a man and van cost in London?
Rates start at £45 per hour for a small van with a driver, with a 2-hour minimum (£90). A medium van is £55/hr, a large van £65/hr and a Luton van £75/hr. Extras such as driver help, an extra helper, assembly, heavy items, the Congestion Charge and ULEZ are shown in your price breakdown before you pay.
Is there a minimum booking time?
Yes. All vans have a 2-hour minimum.
Can you move just one item?
Yes. A single sofa, wardrobe, fridge or other large item is a typical man and van job. The 2-hour minimum applies.
Can the driver help me load?
Yes. Choose self-load (£0), driver help (+£25 per hour) or driver help plus an extra helper (+£50 per hour) when you book. Extra hands are useful for stairs, heavy items or a bigger load.
